WeatherFest
App Design/ UX/UI

WeatherFest is a weather app for festival lovers and anyone who likes to party and have fun. For this project, I designed an app inspired by a designer I adore: Deborah Sussman, drawing on her iconic work for the Olympic Games. To complete the experience, I also created a set of colorful, festive cards that accompany the product.
A weather app that earns a second look.
The assignment was open-ended: design a weather app with one extra reason to exist. Forecasts are a commodity - so the value had to come from what you actually do with the weather.
I anchored it to a moment where the weather genuinely changes a decision: festivals. You commit months ahead, you're outdoors for twelve hours, and "what do I wear" is a real, recurring panic. WeatherFest forecasts the weather for upcoming festivals, turns it into an outfit, and lets you shop the look.
The Problem
Weather apps tell you the temperature, then leave the decision to you.

The Audience
Festival-goers who plan outfits for weeks and still pack wrong.

The Goal
Make the forecast end in an outfit you can actually buy.
